I've got huge doubts that the Saudis will pump the money in to the Geordies that people are expecting . especially once the PIF funded inter Milan takeover goes through.

It's very obvious that at some point they will start to win trophies, it's when not if. Hard to predict how long it will take, but I will predict Edward Howe won't be their manager.
Strong chance they will finish above us next season, in fact, likely.

Couldn’t give a fuck about Newcastle TBH, and im sure if they do try and bend the rules to get around FFP the other PL clubs, especially the so called big 6 whose territory Newcastle are threatening will be screaming SCREAMING about it and demanding action taken against them.

next few years? you're optimistic mate.
only reason we finished above them this season is because we were absolutely flying until december and they had 0 wins in 11.
since howe came in they've been the third best team in the league while we've been midtable at best.

I’m no big fan of the dildo brothers, but I’m glad we don’t have those murderers in charge. Newcastle will spend huge amounts over the next few years and the commentators/journos/pundits who all acted outraged about the Saudi owners will start kissing up to the team like there’s no tomorrow, just like they do with any team at the top table.
Maybe they’ll manage it poorly and implode. I won’t get my hopes up though.

Ah, let’s hope spurs end up in a terminal decline. It would be good if all the “big” clubs fucked off and it went to being every club in the division having a reasonable chance of doing well at the start of every season.

thats the way it is, it's not fair but nothing is.
the FFP rules arent worth a fart, anyone with enough cash and a clue can get round them and even if they get done a la City in 2009 they can still chuck a load of cash and lawyers at it to escape the worst.
If they keep Howe they'll get success the slow way, chase it too hard they'll go like Everton
sometimes think American football is a good system with the wage cap etc, But football isnt football wihtout relegtion and promotion imho.

The premier league brought In a new rule in November that all sponsorship deals have to be passed to stop money being pumped in by the owners

I can't see Eddie Howe being there at the end of next season as they will be looking for a high profile figure to supposedly attract the big name players.
My guess is the not so special one will get the gig, splash a load of cash on mercenaries and deliver the carling cup before losing the dressing room and getting a multi millon pound pay off (again)
The same goes for most of there January transfers who were bought in to do the job of keeping them up but wont be seen as capable of taking them any further.
I cant see them winning the PL anyrime this decade.

Rumour coming out of Paris is PSG are willing to sell Neymar. With Newcaslte already been on the phone. However the player has told PSG he is not interested in moving. So you can have all the money in the world. And you’re still going to have trouble getting people to play for you. I wouldn’t worry too much about them just yet.

Not overly worried about Newcastle. They broke the transfer record when they bought Shearer but still ended up potless.
Man Utd have paid fortunes for Pogba,Mcquire etc then you throw in Ronaldo's wages and the still had their lowestcpoints total since the inception of the premier league.
Big money is obviously helpful but it isnt a nailed on route to glory.
And yes i know we can look at Chelsea and City as contradictions to that pount but the other side of that is that plenty of clubs spend big and end up still looking for trophy's.

Well I'm sure we have had plenty of offers but the vanity project of these 2 shysters has held us back from really progressing both on and off the pitch
Look at our sponsorship deals, piddling when compared to most, why are we not renegotiating them ?, or looking for bigger and better
Truth is they are both comfortable with where we are as a club
